Description Pacho Ramos 2008-02-25 09:31:22 UTC
From http://qa.mandriva.com/show_bug.cgi?id=37235 (also some references to https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=343911 )

Playing xmoto some cracks in the sound are noticed, using SDL_AUDIODRIVER=esd for SDL apps/games "fixes" this problem. Easiest way to notice is with the start screen background music, but also easily noticed while playing.

Other people has noticed the same issue when when pulseaudio is trying to resample and the system isn't powerful enough and playing chromium

The problem with the exact workaround can be heard while playing wesnoth also.

Thanks a lot

This issue is caused by the buffering issues mentioned in bug #572. Marking as a duplicate (even though this bug came first, #572 contains the patch).
