https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/meta-gnome2/+bug/95413

I filed it in launchpad as gnome bug, but after some thought I downloaded latest svn of libsdl, compiled, ran ET with
export LD_PRELOAD=./libSDL-1.3.so.0.exe ./et.x86.exe

and it seem to work (30 minutes of game, so maybe I played to little).

How can I test if its libsdl, is my preload command line working at all (ET doesnt say "initializing libsdl 1.x.x") or debug it in any other way further?

I don't think this is an SDL bug.
