Bug 588

Summary: GCC 3.03 Support on OS/2
Product: SDL Reporter: Frank Ambacher <anakor>
Component: mainAssignee: Ryan C. Gordon <icculus>
Status: RESOLVED FIXED QA Contact: Sam Lantinga <slouken>
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2 CC: dave.r.yeo, sezeroz
Version: HG 1.2Keywords: target-1.2.14
Hardware: x86
OS: OS/2

Description Frank Ambacher 2008-05-25 00:01:54 UTC
On OS/2 GCC 3.03 is required to build applications for the XFree86/OS2 X-Server and Gtk+. But this compiler is to date not supported in the header files. Support
is easy and implemented by myself. For future use it is needed to overtake my
adds to the main developement tree.

This is my modified begin_code.h header file with support for GCC 3.03. My
changes are marked with ##:

Comment 1 Ryan C. Gordon 2009-09-13 16:33:08 UTC
Tagging this bug with "target-1.2.14" so we can try to resolve it for SDL 1.2.14.

Please note that we may choose to resolve it as WONTFIX. This tag is largely so we have a comprehensive wishlist of bugs to examine for 1.2.14 (and so we can close bugs that we'll never fix, rather than have them live forever in Bugzilla).
